My Story
Hi I am Eric,
Owner and lead designer at Acero Woodworking Designs. A Michigan native, born and raised. I have spent more than 20 years developing my skills as a craftsman, designer and custom woodworker. My career began in contracting, where I gained hands-on experience in construction, problem-solving, and working directly with homeowners. From there, I moved into cabinetry and fine woodworking, eventually pursuing my longtime dream of opening Acero Woodworking Designs.
For me, woodworking is about more than building furniture and unique pieces. It is about creating something meaningful, functional, and made specifically for the person who will use it. I enjoy working closely with my customers, listening to their ideas, answering their questions, and helping them understand the different woods, finishes, styles, and construction options available. Every project is a collaboration, and I want each customer to feel comfortable and confident throughout the entire process.
Over the years, I have built everything from live-edge dining tables and traditional furniture to custom cabinetry, built-ins, floating shelves, musical instruments, and one-of-a-kind pieces. Whether a customer arrives with a detailed design or simply an idea, I enjoy finding a way to bring that vision to life.
As a small business owner, I take pride in the quality of my work and the relationships I build with my customers. Every piece is crafted with care, attention to detail, and a genuine love for the woodworking trade.
